On March 27, Mira Costa’s hockey team played their first game of the season against Palos Verdes High School, winning 10-2.
The Mustangs played Palos Verdes on Friday at the Toyota Sports Center. PV had a significantly smaller team compared to Costa. During the first period, Costa scored three times. By the end of the game Costa beat PV 10-2. The top performers was sophomore Bryce Tournat, junior Austin Bowkus, and freshman Matthias Sholl.
The next game is Thursday April 2 against Manhattan Beach independent team at the Toyota Sports Center.
