Paradis Ice Cream Shop in Hermosa Beach gives Hermosa its first delicious taste of Danish style ice cream.

Paradis ice cream is  a pleasureable shop bringing the traditional Danish ambiance, style, flavor, and service to ice cream. The ice cream is delectable and gives out a perfect character, with the only misfortune being its constant low supply and slow service.

Paradis is an originally a Danish shop which merged from Denmark to the United States recently, spreading stores across the South Bay.They bring a Danish flavor of thin and light ice cream to the U.S. with ice cream made from milk rather than cream to create a fresher and more refreshing taste.

Paradis  makes homemade ice cream daily using real fruits and flavors with milk to create a surreal ice cream. The ice cream shop is built upon the principle of making their ice cream as fresh and visually appealing as possible.

Paradis’ flavors of ice cream give a crisp and more refreshing taste unique from other ice creams. The flavors are unique and are never too thick, rich, or overpowering, it’s the perfect mix of all.

Even with the delicious taste it is obvious that Paradis is a recently opened store due to its chaotic atmosphere. At busy hours, the store becomes unorganized, hectic, and cramped due to its small space. Not only does space bring down this shop, but scoopers who can only provide insightful help when the shop is calm because of their inability to control the chaos certainly don’t help.

Additionally, the store does not make enough ice cream to last the day. Near opening time the employees create beautifully decorated icecreams filled w chocolate sauce or fruits on top, but by the end of the day the variety of flavors becomes limited, and because of quick scooping the decorations lose the appealing toppings they started with.

Paradis brings Denmark to Hermosa Beach with homemade ice cream and flavors that are to die for. Despite the fact that popular ice cream flavors sell out quickly and at busy hours the shop becomes an uncontrollable mess, this delicious ice cream is worth the wait or chance to try a new flavor.

Paradis recently opened on Oct. in Hermosa Beach. It is open Sun.- Thurs. 9-a.m. to 12p.m. and Fri.-Sat. 10a.m. to 12p.m.
