Mira Costa’s girls basketball team will take on Crescenta Valley High School in the CIF finals Saturday at 3 P.M. The game will take place at Azusa Pacific University.
A strong all around team, Crescenta Valley will be no easy task for the Mustangs. The Falcons had an overall record of 23-9 and are currently on a ten game win streak. According to junior forward Mia Finney, the key to Costa’s success will be increasing it’s scoring.
“To prepare for the finals, we are going to tighten our offensive plays and keep working on our press,” Finney said.
