Mira Costa students visited the Green and Gold Rally at Manhattan Beach Middle School on Oct. 28. The Football team captains, Cheer & Song team, Dance team, Marching Band and the Student Government were present at the rally.
Many Students and staff of the middle school dressed in green and gold for this annual event to show support for Mira Costa.
Beginning with the entrance of the Marching Band, the cheer and song team led the middle school through various cheers and grade versus grade competitions. The Football team captains and the Student Government encouraged students to attend and support the Mira Costa football team for its game against Peninsula High School on Oct. 29.
“I think it went well. It was exciting to see the future mustangs all fired up for Green and Gold day,” Cheer team captain senior Sierra Bloodgood said.
