Mira Costa’s girls volleyball team defeats Palos Verdes 3-0 at home game on Tuesday, its second Bay League game of the season. The team’s top players were senior outside hitters, Amanda Montag and Hannah Scott.

The Mustangs was able to win all three matches, 25-10, 25-13, and 25-17 with helpful kills from Montag and Scott. Scott says the team did a good job with executing, helping them win the games by many points.

“We did well taking care of our side of the court, to execute a really clean match and taking down PV easily in three sets,” sophomore libero, Malia Yuhl said.

Costa, now 15-5 overall and 2-0 , will face Inglewood High School on Thursday at Inglewood. According to sophomore outside hitter Memphis Glasgow, the game will be all about the team just having fun playing.

“Inglewood is fun match to play but since we will not be at home, we will have to make sure we play our game,” Scott said.
