Mira Costa’s boys and girls badminton team went undefeated against Loara High School, 21-0, on Thursday at Loara High School.
Costa’s boys singles player senior captain Sam Schwartz and freshman Eric Mei won all of their games, as did junior pair Audrey Kim and Kelly Trinh.
“I think we really showed our abilities today,” Kim said. “Everyone played well, and everyone contributed to our win.”
The Mustangs now hold a record of 2-0 and will play Diamond Bar High School on Tuesday at Diamond Bar High School.
“Our team played really well against Loara,” Mei said. “We cheered each other on and we never gave up even when the opponent had the game point.”
