On April 30, at the Manhattan Beach Pier is a fabulous bake sale where all the proceeds goes to the Prescription for Happiness Club. These were posters to get people’s attention over to the bake sale and the posters were made by the club members and the posters decorated the table that all of the treats were on.The bake sale on April 30, is on the Manhattan Beach Pier which is a beautiful location to have the bake sale and a very popular spot. It was a gorgeous and sunny day which lead to a lot of families walking on the strand and on the pier which led to a lot of money.At the bake sale on the Manhattan Beach Pier on April 30, here is the table with all of the very delectable treats that are for sale but they don’t have a price, it is just all donations. The cookies were a great hit as well as brownies, cupcakes, rice krispies and more that were made by club members.On April 30, at the bake sale on the Manhattan Beach Pier there is a wide range of customers from younger kids to older people who donated money to Prescription for Happiness. So many of the customers loved their treats and brought them many smiles which was a main goal.At the Manhattan Beach Pier on April 30, there is also a walk to raise money for the Samburu Project that is right next to our bake sale. Due to this all of the hungry walkers wanted a treat so there was a lot of foot traffic due to this great event for a great cause.Our bake sale on April 30 on the Manhattan Beach pier has a lot of Mira Costa students that supports Prescription for Happiness. Franchesca Bennett and Kareena Dhillion came to support the club and bought some yummy treats while they were walking for the Samburu Project.On the Manhattan Beach Pier on April 30 there is so much support from people in our community which really touches all of the club members hearts. Some people didn’t even buy any treats, they just donated money because they appreciated the club and what it does.Emily Fasano, a Prescription for Happiness club member works very hard at the bake sales and is enjoying a quick coffee from a coffee run. All of the club members really have a great experience at the bake sales and enjoy giving their time to such a great organization.Here are two of the club members on April 30, on the Manhattan Beach Pier enjoying some delicious treats while they are working. All of the treats were a huge hit and the customers loved the idea of just donating money for the treats and not having a specific price.At the bake sale on April 30, on the Manhattan Beach pier the girls who work at the bake sale are apart of the club and are selling and giving out the bake goods. There were about 6 club members that worked the bake sale and many of the other club members made bake goods to be sold.
