The Mira Costa Mustangs boys soccer team beat the South Torrance High School Spartans by a score of 2-1 on Dec. 16.
Senior forward Charlie Pitts scored both goals to help the Mustangs achieve their fourth victory of the season. Mira Costa is now 4-0-1 for the season.
While school is not in session, the boys will continue to play soccer. The Mustangs will compete in a tournament at South Torrance which starts Dec. 21.
