Costa baseball swept the Morningside Monarchs 40-0 in a Bay League away game on Wednesday, May 2nd. The Mustangs obliterated the Monarchs with everyone contributing in this huge win.

Throughout the game, the Mustangs’ bats were on fire, destroying the Monarch defense. The Monarchs were not able to keep up with the Mustangs through the whole game, as Costa strode away with an easy victory.

“We did a really good job staying focussed at the plate,” junior Christian Bodlovich said.

The Mustangs are now 25-2 and 7-0 in league and will play the Monarchs again at home on Friday May 4. Costa is looking for another blow out win to improve their record.

“We had great contributions from every guy who got his opportunity,” Bodlovich said.
