‘El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie’ gives peaceful ending to Pinkman’s story

Showing a unique view on good versus evil throughout the series “Breaking Bad,” “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie” gives  the main character, Jesse Pinkman, the ending he deserves, satisfying viewers. 

The movie picks up where the TV show, “Breaking Bad,” left off. Jesse Pinkman, the main character of the show, has just escaped from jail, and he is forced to come to terms with his past in order to create a future for himself. 

Vince Gilligan wrote the screenplay and directed “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.” The same cast from the “Breaking Bad” series plays each of their previous characters, including Emmy-winner Aaron Paul, who stars as Jesse Pinkman; Charles Baker, who plays Skinny Pete; and Jesse Plemons, who plays Todd Alquist. 

The ending of “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie” gives viewers a more peaceful and fulfilling ending to Pinkman’s story. The movie perfectly ends Pinkman’s life of crime by allowing him to find peace with his life and move onto what comes next for him. 

The movie runs like a long epilogue of “Breaking Bad” because it picks up exactly where the series ended six years earlier. It wraps up the unresolved conflict from the series and gives more context to what happens to each of the characters after the series ended.  

The music in “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie,” adds to the suspense of the film, which keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. The soundtrack and sound effects fit each scene perfectly, and they add to the unnerving feeling of the plot, making the movie exceptional.

Paul does a phenomenal job depicting Jesse Pinkman. His talent allows viewers to watch him seamlessly switch from the flashbacks to present time, making it an easy viewing. The cast members take on their roles perfectly, allowing the viewer to sympathize for the characters and feel what they are going though as well. 

The astounding actors and horrifying scenes create a very captivating film. The movie gives the viewer a more satisfying ending to “Breaking Bad” by finishing up each of the characters’ stories. 

Released on Oct. 11, “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie” is available for streaming on Netflix.
