“The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” hasn’t given the audience an intriguing plot line and fails to provide a solid spin off for the Marvel “Avengers” movies. The show focuses more on numerous villains that it started to become disorganized and messy.

“The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” was released on March 19. The executive producer and writer of this show is Malcolm Spellman and stars Sebastian Stan as The Winter Soldier (Bucky) and Anthony Mackie as The Falcon.

As The Falcon gives up the shield and donates it to The Smithsonain, Bucky on the other hand receives therapy for his Post Traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD). As Bucky and Samuel Wilson(Falcon) meet, they have to surpass villains to get to the true source of all problems which is John Walker.

The main disappointing factor to this show is its lack of originality. “Endgame” was supposed to be the end of the Avengers. In that movie, Captain America passed away giving his shield to Samuel Wilson. Although, “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” decided to have a different Captain America with the same name which failed to be original.

Also, there was a lot of disorganization in the show. There were many villains in this show that when the true villain was brought out, it didn’t give enough shock or thrill to the audience.

The villain of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” truly brings down Captain America. The previous Captain America was a true legend and was one of the original Avengers. Although, making John Walker the new Captain America brought a lot of disappointment to the audience since it brings down the legacy of Steve Rogers.

Another flaw is that many of the villains in this show can be easily sympathized. Therefore, it confuses the audience on where they stand. For example, John Walker can be sympathized due to all the pressure he’s gained from being the new Captain America. Although, many MCU villains were always the “bad guy” and the audience usually never hindered with their views.

Since there were so many villains to focus on, this show failed to focus more on the relationship with the two main characters. Both of them are struggling with their personal problems while both sharing the death of their best friend.

This show tries to show the future of America after the death of Captain America. It mainly tries to project a stand on America and its current problems with racism.

Although, with numerous villains, exposing racism, mental health issues, broken friendships, etc is just too much for a show with only 5 episodes in this show.

“The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s” first season is rated PG-13, and is able to be streamed in Disney Plus.
