Girls tennis comes out victorious against the Long Beach Poly, 17-1

Girls tennis adds to another win after the match on Wednesday, September 15, against Long Beach Poly.

“The team is incredibly excited for this major win for us,” said senior Ella Lokier. “Winning 17 out of the 18 matches gives us a huge confidence boost and makes us more excited for upcoming matches. We will continue to put in the hard work to be able to go undefeated next time we face off against Long Beach Poly.”

Top doubles team of this match is sophomore Maily Hunyn and senior Sydney Vo. The duo went undefeated this match, winning all 3 of their games.

“The doubles team of Maily and Sydney is unstoppable,” Lokier said. “They always work together and balance out the other. With any weakness one of them may have, it’s the other’s strength. I love being on a team with them and watching their chemistry grow throughout the games and practices. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season is in store for them.”
