Costa’s Drama Department began holding auditions for its spring play, “Beauty and the Beast,” on Jan. 3.
Sixty Costa students came to audition for a total of 34 available roles for the spring musical. Auditions were two days long and began at 3 p.m. after school in the auditorium, lasting until about 5:30 p.m. Vocal auditions were two to three minutes long per audition, while the group dance auditions took about an hour.
“It is important to be prepared and ready to go, and being humble while also being confident is a great thing to have when going into an audition,” sophomore Siena Frederick said.
