On Nov. 11, the Hermosa Beach Veterans Memorial Committee and community honored veterans in their annual Veterans Day wreath laying ceremony at the memorial in Hermosa Beach.
The ceremony was hosted by the Mayor Pro-Tem of Hermosa Beach, Raymond Jackson. Jackson gave multiple speeches thanking veterans for their sacrifice and service to the military. He called upon members of the community to place a rose upon the memorial right under the wreath he laid.
“This tradition and memorial is something that the community has participated in for years, [and] it’s an honor to be here today to continue it,” said Jackson.
