ASB hosts, judges annual Halloween costume contest

ASB hosted the Halloween Costume Contest on Oct. 31 in the Mustang Mall at nutrition for students and staff who were dressed up. 

There were several categories for winners such as funniest, scariest, best individual, best duo, and more. Contest winners received gift cards for winning. Prior to the event, there was a Halloween safety video on Oct. 27 that informed the students of the categories and rules to abide by. 

“I was Bruno Mars, and I won the celebrity look alike [category].” said junior Maddie Johnson. “I was kinda surprised that I won, but I thought it was cool that other people liked my costume.” 

Costa ASB hosted the Halloween Costume contest on Oct.31. Numerous students went to the Mustang Mall stage to get their costume judged.
