On March 21, Manhattan Beach Unified School District (MBUSD) hosted its Build a Bridge choir concert with performances from Mira Costa, Manhattan Beach Middle School, Robinson, Meadows, Pennekamp, Pacific, and Grand View Elementary, and Elementary Honor choirs.
The event began at 6 p.m. in the Costa auditorium. Choir directors Kate Crellin and Krista Giffin led the event with accompanists Gordon Glor and Fumie Kwak.
“It was a huge success for all performers,” said freshman choral member Beatrix Wright. “It’s such a unique experience to perform with talented choristers from all schools.”
