Waterpolo beats Peninsula, Palos Verdes

Mira Costa water polo finished 2-0, beating Peninsula High School Oct. 3, 14-6, and Palos Verdes High School Oct. 5, 13-8. Overall Mira Costa is ranked 37th in California on Maxpreps.com. Costa  has an overall record of 11-6. 

“This week we had a strong performance; I was happy to see us crush our competition, and we are ready to take on Santa Margarita.” said senior water polo player Wayatt Edwards.

Costa plays in the Division 1, which is the second best division a team can play in. Costa jumped up 7 places from its previous ranking in California. Costa’s next game is Oct. 7  vs Santa Margarita.
