On Feb. 18, the Mira Costa boys’ basketball team suffered an unfortunate loss in the second round of CIF. At home, the boys lost 55-54.
The top performers were seniors Elliot Ozer and Thomas Johnson who each contributed a significant number of points and rebounds for the Mustangs. Ozer had 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals while Johnson had a double-double with 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Sophomore Cole Feaster also had a solid night with 14 points, 3 steals, and 4 assists.
The Mustangs’ loss marks the end of the season with a final record of 10-18 overall.
