On March 11, the Mira Costa boys tennis team suffered its first loss of the season to Brentwood 6-12.
Senior Will Wong was the only singles player to take a set, defeating Brentwood’s number three 6-4. The number two doubles team of sophomore Tom Wissel and senior Steven Korda won two of their three matches with scores of 6-4 and 6-2. The third seed of senior Matt Wah and sophomore Michael Carella also took two out of three matches.
The Mustangs, 5-1, will compete against Santa Monica High School at home on March 15.
