On March 1, the Mira Costa boys tennis team won their first match of the season against Bishop Montgomery. The Mustangs easily defeated the Knights 17-1.
Number two singles sophomore Kyvan Elep won his two matches 6-2 and 6-1. Seniors Chris Stanbrook and Will Wong played number one doubles and had 6-2 and 6-2 victories.
Costa plays against Long Beach Polytechnic March 2 at home.
