The Mustang boys lacrosse team traveled to Culver City High School for their fourth game of the season on March 14. Costa defeated the Culver City Centaurs by a wide margin, 19-2. This win evens Costa’s record to 2-2.
With such a high scoring game, there were several opportunities for players to display their talent. Junior Ryan Silver took several of these opportunities, scoring four goals. Seniors Marcus Egeck and Julian Trivers also scored three goals each. Senior goalie Jon Mayfield made seven saves out of nine shots on goal.
After this win, Costa looks forward to their next game on March 16 when they visit Redondo.
