Boys volleyball beats Redondo away

The Mira Costa boys volleyball team defeated rival high school Redondo Union in a Bay League game on May 3. At Redondo, the Mustangs took the Sea Hawks after four games.

The Mustangs matched up closely with the Sea Hawks for the duration of the game. Costa won the first two games with close scores of 25-22 and 25-21. Redondo came back in the third and won 21-25. In the fourth, the Mustangs finished it off, 25-23.

Costa’s record is now 30-1 overall for the season and a spotless 7-0 in the Bay League. As CIF approaches, the Mustangs travel to Palos Verdes High School for their final Bay League game on May 5.
