On May 5, members of Mira Costa’s boys tennis team competed in the Bay League doubles tournament at the Jack Kramer Club.
Senior Matt Wah and sophomore Steven Korda lost in the first round 8-1. Senior Chris Stanbrook and sophomore Tom Wissel were also defeated in the first round with a score of 8-5. Sophomores Ben Sands and Michael Carella won their first round match 8-6, but lost in the second round 6-0, 6-1.
The Mustangs have their first CIF match on May 11. The time, place and competitor have yet to be determined. The boys are 12-10 overall and 4-5 in Bay League.
