On Dec. 22, the Mustangs faced Yucaipa High School away in the third game of the Palm Springs Tournament. The boys beat Yucaipa with a score of 60-58, making the Mustangs’ record 10-3 overall for the season.
Senior Cooper Pugnale was key in Costa’s offensive effort, adding 14 points. Junior Kevin Kim and senior Keith Waddell also added 11 and 10 points respectively. Junior Cole Feaster dealt six assists and sophomore Justin Strings grabbed 10 rebounds.
The Mustangs will continue along in the Palm Springs Tournament on Dec. 23.
