On December 28, the Mira Costa girls basketball team beat MoaPa Valley High School 63-23 in the Las Vegas tournament. Later in the day they played University High School of Irvine and won 44-39.
The top performer of the games were freshman Meghan Peneueta with 16 points for game one and sophomore Camillie Mills with 9 points for game two.
