On Jan. 3, the Mira Costa girls basketball team beat North Torrance High School with a final score of 43-28. The game took place away at North Torrance.
The standout players of the game were senior Ashley Reese and sophomore Shaylyn Austin, who both managed to add significant points for the Mustangs.
The girls’ next game will be on Jan. 5 away against Bishop Montgomery.
