On Monday, Jan. 9, the girls water polo team won its first Bay League game against Palos Verdes at Mira Costa with a final score of 8-6. This makes the Mustangs’ record 8-2 overall and 1-0 in Bay League.
Junior Emily Milstead scored a total of five goals throughout the game and goalie Bianca Magno had over 10 saves.
Costa’s next game is at Downey High School against Warren on Wednesday, Jan. 11.
