Mira Costa Girls Golf improved immensely in their rematch against Diamond Bar High School on Thursday, Sept. 26. Coach Tom Cox purposely placed them against really good teams for their non-league matches to prepare them for when the league starts. The Mira Costa girls varsity golf team played against South Torrance at the Los Verdes golf course on Sept. 27 and against West Torrance on Oct. 2 at Alondra golf course. The team also played again on the Oct. 4 at Chester Washington golf course against West Torrance.
