Boys basketball unable to avenge their rivals

The Mira Costa boys basketball suffered another loss when they visited rival Redondo Union High School on Feb. 1. The Mustangs fell to the Seahawks in a final score of 55-42.

The Mustangs were led by seniors Thomas Johnson and Elliot Ozer. Johnson contributed 15 points and Ozer added 14 of his own to keep the Mustangs in the game.

The Mustangs’ record now stands at 10-13 overall for the season and 2-5 in the Bay League. The next game will take place at Leuzinger high school on Feb. 4.
