In Mira Costa’s last game of the Hilltop Classic Tournament in Palos Verdes, the boys basketball team earned third place by beating Venice with a comfortable score of 72-42 on Dec. 17.
Junior Oliver Mausner led the Mustangs with 14 points and junior Cole Feaster followed with 12 points and six assists. Junior Kevin Kim had nine points while sophomore Justin Strings added eight points and eight rebounds.
The Mustangs (8-2) will travel to Palm Springs on Dec. 20 to compete until Dec. 23 in the Palm Springs Tournament.
