On Oct. 10 Mira Costa girls golf team wrapped up the regular season with a victory over rival Peninsula High School. The game took place at Chester Washington golf course. Costa’s win over the Panthers gives the Mustangs a spotless 10-0 overall record for the season.
The girls won with a final score of 201-207. Sophomore Jenny Johnson and junior Raquel Gordon both led the mustangs by shooting a 39 each. The two were followed by sophomore Megan Kim with a score of 40.
The girls’ next game is the first in Bay League at the Ocean Finals tournament on Oct. 19 in Lakewood starting at 9:30 am.
